HARVEST OF FRESHNESS – CHEFS, FARMERS SHOWCASE LOCAL BOUNTY
This Sat. Oct. 18 from 9am to noon, join “Chefs at the Market” for a mouth-watering food tasting event that brings together local chefs and growers as they showcase fresh flavours of the fall bounty found ripe for the picking at the Farmers’ Market.
Chef Lesley Stav, president of the North Vancouver Island Chefs Association (NVICA), says this on-site collaboration between chefs and farmers is the perfect match to show market visitors the delicious connections between farm and fork.
