Oct 15th Market is CANCELLED Due to Extreme Weather

We are disappointed to have to cancel the final outdoor market of the season. The forecast is for both wind and rain, and it's just not safe for our customers or vendors.

From the weather network: Wind warnings remain in place for most of Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.

The Downtown Courtenay Farmers’ Market held on Fifth Street on Wednesdays ends Aug 31st. The market started mid-June and has run every week, hosting about 25 vendors a week bringing their fresh local food to the Downtown Core. Executive Director Vickey Brown is happy with the season; we had a good turnout of vendors and customers this year even with some sketchy weather to start.”
